This performance based partnership in reducing Non-Revenue Water in Babelan is the first in Indonesia. PT GMI partnering with South Korean company, expert in handling leakage and reducing NRW, Hanil Network Engineering formed a joint venture called Hanil Grenex Network (HGN).

HGN managed around 1.000.000m3 of water every month. With HGN’s intervention the NRW percentage are reduced from 40,41% (before intervention) to the average of 18,00% in November 2023. The success of this “pilot project” is currently being studied and replicated in other branches in PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi and all over Indonesian.
