GDisk is designed to automatically perform backwashing using the tank water level sensor without interrupting the filtration process. As solids accumulate on the surface of the cloth media, the flow through the media is reduced creating head losses and raising the water level inside the tank and triggering the level sensor. GDisk makes it possible to perform continuous filtration even during backwashing.
